Film #1 - The Airborne Invasion of Europe: 1944 - The story of the American and British airborne landings in Normandy on D-Day. See preparation for the glider portion of the invasion with Waco and Horsa glider landings. Footage of various aircraft engaged in towing operations including P-38s, B-17s, C-54s, and B-25s. Troops from the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions are shown making final preparations. Then the invasion is on!  Bombers pound coastal defense guns and emplacements. Fighters (P-38s, P-47s, and P-51s) are shown strafing ground targets. Airborne paratroops drop into Normandy. Run-time of 53 minutes in B&W.

Film #2 - D-Day Pathfinders - The first aircraft of the invasion takes off for France. Run-time of 5 minutes in color.

Film #3 - Gun Camera Film D-Day - USAAF gun camera film from June 6, 1944 D-Day. Run-time of 17 minutes in B&W.

Film #4 - Captain Robert S. Johnson Fighter Pilot 1944 - More footage of the 56th Fighter Group ace from Lawton, Oklahoma with his P-47. Run-time of 3 minutes in B&W.

Film #5 - Operation Varsity - Two films document the air drop over the Rhine in March 1945. Some great glider and C-47 footage. Run-time of 17 minutes in B&W.

Film #6 - Beachhead to Berlin: 1944 - US Coast Guard film of the Normandy invasion. Run-time of 18 minutes in color. 

Film #7 - RAF Glouster Meteor Jets - Weisbaden, June 1945. Run-time of 5 minutes in color.
