Book Condition Guidelines

New - A new book that has not been read in perfect condition. There are no missing or damaged pages.

Used - Like New - A book that has been read but looks new. No visible wear on cover. Very minimal wear and tear.The dust jacket (if applicable) is included for hardcovers. There is no underlining or highlighting of text. There are no missing or damaged pages and no creases or tears. No writing in the margins. May have minimal identifying marks on the inside cover.

Used - Very Good - A book that has been read, does not look new and is in excellent condition. Very minimal wear and tear overall. No obvious damage to the cover and the dust jacket (if applicable) is included for hardcovers. No damaged or missing pages, no creases or tears and no underlining, highlighting or writing in the margins. May have very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover.

Used - Good - A book that has been read and is in good condition. No missing pages. Very minimal damage to the cover including scuff marks but no holes or tears. The dust jacket for hardcovers may not be present. Most pages should be undamaged with minimal creasing or tearing. Some text areas may be underlined or highlighted and there may be some writing in the margins.

Used - Acceptable A book with obvious wear. There may be some damage to the cover but the integrity is still intact. The binding may be slightly damaged but the integrity is still intact. There may be underlining, highlighting and writing in the margins but no missing pages or anything that would compromise the legibility or understanding of the text.
