The F-105 Thunderchief was a supersonic fighter-bomber called the Thud. Originally designed for low altitude nuclear strike missions, the onset of the Vietnam War completely changed the role the Thud was intended for. This change challenged the aircraft and its heroic crews.
Join us as we showcase never before seen footage of the Thud and pilot diaries shared by Bill Hosmer, Frank Tullo, John Morissey, George Acree, and David Brog. Dedicated to the crews behind the F-105 who were the true heroes! With special thanks to Author DOC Lowell Peterson and Gary Baker of Craig Baker's F-105 Site - The Awesome Thunderchief
