Ameristar is a jet charter and cargo operator using a large fleet of Learjet 24, Falcon 20, and Boeing 737 aircraft. Ameristar operates in the United States as well as internationally to destinations all over the world.
The Learjet 24 is a six passenger/two crew twin engine business jet first flown in 1966. Range is 1700 miles, cruising speed is 481 mph and ceiling is 45,000 feet. In 1966, mainly for publicity and demonstration purposes, a Learjet 24 flew around the world in about 50 hours.
The Falcon 20 is a business jet manufactured by the French company Dassault Aviation. First flown in 1963, it was introduced in 1965. With a crew of two and passenger capacity of 8-14 passengers, the Falcon 20 could cruise at 466 mph with a range of 2080 miles and a ceiling of about 42,000 feet.
The dvd includes presentations on the Learjet 24 and the Falcon 20, walkarounds, and cockpit presentations for each aircraft. In addition, there are several flights in the cockpit. There is also a flight on the Boeing 737.
