The Boeing B-29 Superfortress was one of the largest bombers of World War II. It was designed with state-of-the-art technology, which included a pressurized cabin, dual-wheeled tricycle landing gear, and an analog computer-controlled fire-control system.
The last operational B-29 Superfortress "Fifi" is owned by the Commemorative Air Force which tours the U.S. for the general public to experience history. We will see it on the ground, during flights from Cincinnati Ohio, and fly aboard the aircraft as we ride along the Pacific Coast in California.
This is your chance to see the restored WWII B29 Superfortress "Fifi" closeup on the ground and in the air. This DVD was filmed in 2013 and the quality of modern video and audio gear enables the viewer to experience the B29 on an entirely different level.
