This DVD is a collection of six films on the Boeing 707 jetliner. First flown in 1957, the Boeing 707, although not the first commercial jetliner in service, was the first to be widespread. The 707 was a four-engine jet aircraft that used Pratt & Whitney engines and later, Rolls-Royce engines. Approximately 865 Boeing 707 aircraft were produced from 1956 to 1978.

Film #1 - Boeing 707 Pan Am's 6 and 1/2 Hours - A 1954 Pan Am film on the wonders of the Jet Age, based on the amazing Boeing all jet 707 airliner. It is the story of how travel to London would now take only 6 and 1/2 magical hours. Runtime is about 13 minutes.

Film #2 - BOAC 707 Caribbean Trip - A typical British Overseas Airways film on a trip to the Caribbean flying the Boeing 707. Runtime is about 27 minutes.

Film #3 - USAF Boeing KC-135 - aka The Indispensable KC-135 Air Tanker. Great film on the many uses from refueling an F4 Phantom, to refueling the B-52 all around the world. Runtime is about 24 minutes.

Film #4 - Airport Plane Talk - A film showing mostly the Boeing 707 airliner in service in and out of airports. Runtime is about 22 minutes.

Film #5 - Boeing E-3 AWACS - USAF Airborne Early Warning and Control aircraft collection in HD around the world, plus mid-air refueling footage. Runtime is about 10 minutes.

Film #6 - 707 Newsreels - 8 short films. 1st, Cuban Crisis. 2nd, 707s bring wounded home from Vietnam. 3rd, 707 carpet. 4th, 707 goes into service. 5th, Air Defense drill. 6th, Air Force One 707 brings President Johnson to Hawaii. 7th, Gen. Westmoreland lands his 707 in Saigon. 8th, Secretary of the Army visits troops in Saigon by a 707. Runtime is about 8 minutes.
