| The Wisconsin Central, THE Regional Railroad success story of the 90's. Taped in May of 1996, we visited the shops at Stevens Point and Fond du Lac, caught a four train meet at Owens, trains from multiple directions at Junction City, DM&IR SD9's on the Valley Sub, an SDL39 in a grade crossing accident at Black Creek, Wig-Wag signals, a Taconite train and a GP30 on Byron Hill, an 11 unit lashup on T20, UP run through power at Wisconsin Rapids, high speed on the Chicago Sub, with all the power WC has to offer, including F45's, SD45's, SD24's, and an SD35 and GP30's. See the shops, dispatchers office, and the trains of the Wisconsin Central as they hustle to deliver the traffic.
