Classic Wings Vickers VC10 DVD Handley Page Herald 1950s British Propliner DVD

The Vickers VC10 was an early British jet airliner designed in the late 1950s and first flown in 1962. It was superbly engineered but too late and tailored to the needs of only a small proportion of its potential customers. The video, using some amazing fully restored achive film from BAE Systems, presents the story of the VC10.

The Handley Page Herald was a tough, reliable, feederliner that earned respect from all who flew it, but never gained the success it really deserved. The Herald's story starts in 1955, when it first flew with four piston engines. Altogether a great DVD about a fascinating British airliner.
